About Your New Job

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of personal and corporate clients.
  • Monitor portfolio performance metrics, including billing, collections, and work-in-progress.
  • Prepare and review tax returns for a varied client base.
  • Handle advisory projects across all tax areas, including corporate tax, income tax, capital gains tax, capital acquisitions tax, and VAT.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, providing timely and efficient tax advice.
  • Collaborate closely with the Tax Director and Partners on tax projects.
  • Research tax technical issues.
  • Work alongside colleagues across the firm.
  • Mentor, coach, and evaluate staff, promoting a positive and growth-oriented team culture.

What Skills You Need

  • Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) qualification is essential; an Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is desirable.
  • At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a practice environment.
  • Minimum of 12 months' experience in a management role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • A proactive team player committed to ongoing professional development.
  • Proficiency in various taxation software and Microsoft Office.
