About Your New Job
- As a Fire, Security & CCTV Systems Engineer, you will independently manage projects from site survey to installation and client handover.
- You’ll design, install, commission, maintain, and repair a range of systems including:
- Intruder alarm systems (wired & wireless)
- Fire detection and alarm systems (conventional & addressable)
- CCTV systems (analogue & IP, wired & wireless)
- Access control systems (analogue & IP, wired & wireless)
- Gate automation & emergency lighting systems (advantageous)
- You’ll network and integrate CCTV systems, set up remote access, troubleshoot faults, and provide end-user training.
- You’ll deliver high standards of customer care, maintain clear records, and communicate professionally with clients.
- You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, with the option to participate in the on-call rota for emergency support.
What Skills You Need
- 4–5 years’ experience designing, installing, and maintaining electronic fire and security systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of leading fire and security platforms (e.g., Advanced, Morley, Ziton, Aritech, CTEC, Hochiki, Apollo, HKC, RISCO, GE, Dahua, Hikvision, Paxton, ACT).
- Solid understanding of networking principles and system integration.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Safe Pass and Manual Handling (training provided if not held).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Work authorisation in Ireland.
