The Role
As Supply Chain Lead, you will take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain function, ensuring efficient operations from procurement and production planning through to distribution and delivery.
You will work cross-functionally to drive performance, enhance efficiencies, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team
- Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Drive improvements through data analysis and performance metrics
- Implement strategies to optimise efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage logistics and distribution operations
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans
- Collaborate with procurement on supplier negotiations and contracts
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards
- Report on KPIs and supply chain performance
- Lead continuous improvement and supply chain initiatives
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in supply chain (10+ years preferred for senior candidates)
- Strong experience in inventory, logistics, and distribution
- Proven leadership and team management capability
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset
- Experience with supply chain systems and tools
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of regulatory and quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
