About the Role
A well established, multi-site retail and trade supply business is seeking an experienced Stock Controller to join its operations team.
This is a key role responsible for ensuring accurate stock management across multiple locations, supporting purchasing and branch operations and maintaining high levels of stock integrity and reporting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and complete regular stock cycle counts across multiple sites
- Monitor and reduce negative and aged stock levels
- Maintain accurate stock records on internal systems
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances
- Produce daily and weekly stock reports for management
- Work closely with purchasing and branch teams to manage stock levels effectively
- Support stock planning and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide administrative support to senior management as required
- Ensure stock processes are followed consistently across the business
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in stock control or inventory management
- Strong understanding of stock management processes and controls
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general IT systems
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders and departments
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Proactive approach to problem solving
Package
- Salary €40,000
