With a busy project pipeline and ongoing works in North Dublin, they are currently seeking an experienced Telehandler Operator to join their team on a site based in Balbriggan.
About Your New Job
As a Telehandler Operator, you will play a key role in supporting daily site operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials across the construction site. This position requires a strong understanding of site logistics, excellent awareness of health and safety, and the ability to work closely with site teams.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operating a 17-metre telehandler safely and efficiently in line with site requirements.
- Transporting, lifting, and placing materials as directed by site management.
- Assisting various trades by ensuring timely delivery of materials to work areas.
- Carrying out daily machine checks and reporting any faults or issues.
- Maintaining clear communication with banksmen and site personnel.
- Ensuring all loads are handled within safe working limits.
- Supporting general site duties where required.
- Keeping the machine and work area clean and well organised.
- Adhering strictly to all site health and safety procedures and always wearing appropriate PPE.
What Skills You Need
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience operating a 17-metre telehandler on construction sites.
- A valid Safe Pass (essential).
- Manual Handling certification (essential).
- A valid CSCS Telehandler ticket (essential).
- Strong awareness of site safety and lifting practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions clearly.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
