About Your New Job
As a Skilled Labourer - Lagger, you will:
- Carry out thermal insulation and cladding work on piping, ductwork, and mechanical equipment.
- Apply various insulation materials (mineral wool, foam, pre-formed sections) to hot/cold surfaces to enhance energy efficiency and protect from environmental conditions.
- Measure, cut, and fit insulation and cladding materials with high precision, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs of insulation systems, including fireproofing and soundproofing where necessary.
- Read and interpret site drawings and insulation schedules to complete tasks to the required standard.
- Adhere to site safety regulations and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Support general site labouring duties as needed and cooperate with other trades on-site.
What Skills You Need
- Proven experience in lagging/insulation works within the construction or industrial sectors.
- Ability to use hand and power tools relevant to insulation and cladding fitting.
- Understanding of health & safety requirements on Irish construction sites (Safe Pass essential).
- Strong teamwork skills and a reliable work ethic.
- Flexibility to adapt to various site demands and willingness to learn.
