About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Setting-Out Engineer to join our team on civil infrastructure projects based in Kerry. This role is ideally suited to a land surveying professional with strong setting-out experience who is passionate about precision, quality, and supporting the successful delivery of major civil engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out setting out for civil engineering works using GPS, Total Station and surveying equipment.
- Complete topographical, as-built and control surveys to support project delivery.
- Verify levels, dimensions, and coordinates to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
- Process and manage survey data, producing accurate records and reports.
- Liaise with the engineering and site management teams to coordinate surveying activities.
- Promote the highest standards of health, safety, environmental and quality (HSEQ) compliance.
Requirements:
- Degree or qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Geomatics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Setting-Out Engineer, Land Surveyor or similar role.
- Strong experience using GPS, Total Stations etc.
- Experience delivering surveying services on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
