About Your New Role
As the Mechanical Site Manager, you will play a key leadership role on a large-scale project in the Midwest region. You will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical works onsite, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards, and maintaining clear communication between project stakeholders.
Your main duties include:
Managing day-to-day mechanical operations, scheduling, and logistics.
Overseeing installations and commissioning of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
Monitoring progress, inspecting works, and ensuring compliance with design and specification.
Chairing meetings, reporting to senior management, and resolving site issues efficiently.
Driving a positive safety culture and ensuring all works follow regulatory requirements.
What Skills You Need
Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical site management, ideally on large-scale projects.
Relevant mechanical or engineering qualification.
Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to manage subcontractors and site teams.
Detailed knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and building regulations.
Effective communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
