About Your New Role as Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will oversee day-to-day site operations on a high end refit and extension project, ensuring all activities are completed to the highest standards and in line with project requirements. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate subcontractors, maintain detailed records, and help drive the project toward successful, timely completion. Main responsibilities include:
- Supervising on-site construction activities and enforcing safety protocols.
- Managing daily site operations and coordinating project teams to meet targets.
- Maintaining site documentation and facilitating effective communication among stakeholders.
- Leading team meetings, planning upcoming works, and continuously seeking ways to optimise efficiency.
What Skills You Need as a Site Manager:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Site Manager role within the construction sector.
- Relevant construction management qualification or related field.
- Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Solid knowledge of construction processes and regulatory standards.
- Proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
