About Your New Role
As a Site Engineer, you’ll play a key role in managing technical operations for a major heritage renovation and extension project (valued €18–20 million), delivering 55 residential units in the heart of Athlone.
You will:
- Set out, level, and survey site works per project specifications.
- Oversee and supervise construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
- Manage and maintain site documentation and coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement on site.
- Promote the integration of sustainability and innovation throughout project delivery.
What Skills You Need
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer, preferably on large-scale residential or heritage refurbishment projects.
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent.
- Strong technical knowledge of setting out, site procedures, and construction management.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic project team.
