About Your New Job

As Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a production team to achieve operational targets while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing a team of production operators.
  • Driving a strong culture of safety, quality, and food hygiene compliance.
  • Working closely with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Health & Safety teams.
  • Monitoring and improving shift performance against key KPIs.
  • Supporting training and development initiatives across the team.
  • Leading continuous improvement projects and driving operational excellence.
  • Investigating issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
  • Managing shift administration, documentation, and payroll hours.

What Skills You Need

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or a similar environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational performance.
  • Flexibility to work within a shift-based environment.
