About Your New Job
As Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a production team to achieve operational targets while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of production operators.
- Driving a strong culture of safety, quality, and food hygiene compliance.
- Working closely with Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, and Health & Safety teams.
- Monitoring and improving shift performance against key KPIs.
- Supporting training and development initiatives across the team.
- Leading continuous improvement projects and driving operational excellence.
- Investigating issues, identifying root causes, and implementing effective solutions.
- Managing shift administration, documentation, and payroll hours.
What Skills You Need
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within manufacturing, food production, FMCG, or a similar environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational performance.
- Flexibility to work within a shift-based environment.
