About Your New Job
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on machinery and associated equipment.
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and extend machine life.
- Install, commission, and test new machinery at customer sites.
- Inspect, replace, and service components including hoses, valves, pumps, motors, and drive systems.
- Complete service documentation and provide technical support and operating advice to customers.
What Skills You Need
- Strong mechanical engineering background with hands-on experience in agricultural, construction, plant, or industrial machinery maintenance and repair.
- Proven fault-finding and repair skills, able to diagnose issues and carry out mechanical repairs independently.
- Technical knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drive systems, and ability to read diagrams/schematics.
- Practical problem-solver with a proactive mindset & workshop experience.
- Computer literate with basic electrical/control system knowledge and a full clean driving licence where required.
