About Your New Employer
My client, a leading insurance company is recruiting a Senior Technical and Product Underwriter. The role is based in central Dublin (Hybrid-2 days onsite and 3 days remote).
You will be responsible for reviewing policies and procedures for the underwriting department and ensuring documentation is compliant with regulatory standards.
Other duties include:
- Developing new insurance products through market research to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Collaborating with actuarial, distribution, and marketing teams
- Improving underwriting processes, procedures and pricing tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Providing guidance on complex risks and acting as a point of escalation.
- Assisting with designing the Underwriting Quality Assurance Strategy.
What skills You Need:
- Hold the CIP qualification
- Proven experience in a technical underwriting role with strong expertise in policy and product management.
- Strong understanding of the regulations.
