About Your New Job
As the SAP HANA and MDM Data Engineer you will design, develop and deploy SAP HANA Cloud models using HDI containers and related technologies such as XSODATA and XSJS.
You will build and optimize HANA data models to meet business requirements while ensuring strong performance, scalability and clean architecture.
Work closely with the Data Governance team to support Master Data Management (MDM) processes, governance activities and data quality initiatives.
Extract and integrate data from both on-premise and cloud systems and deliver data into SAP and non-SAP platforms.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex HANA system issues, support existing SAP applications and participate in peer code reviews to maintain best practices.
What Skills You Need
5–8+ years of hands-on SAP experience including SAP S/4, SAP BW, Native HANA or HANA Cloud, Datasphere and SAC.
Strong SQL knowledge and strong data modelling skills with experience designing efficient HANA models.
Experience with SAP technologies including CDS views, SDI/SDA/SLT/BODS, SAP CPI, Cloud Connector, APIs and SAP BTP/BAS.
Hands-on experience with SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) tools.
Knowledge of analytics and reporting tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or Business Objects.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments and familiarity with ERP implementation processes including planning, blueprinting, go-live and hypercare.
