About Your New Job
As the Senior Regulatory Manager (Finance), you will provide strategic governance and financial oversight to the largest Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) in Ireland, ensuring they operate within regulatory and best practice frameworks.
You will lead and manage a team of financial analysts, evaluating the financial performance and resilience of AHBs through in-depth analysis, scenario planning, and stress testing.
You will engage with Boards and senior stakeholders, deliver financial management training, and drive improvements in financial governance, reporting, and risk mitigation.
You will represent AHBRA in internal and external engagements, contributing to impactful regulatory projects and organisational development.
What Skills You Need
A professional accountancy qualification (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) and/or substantial experience in financial analysis, audit, regulation, or a related field.
At least 5 years’ experience in areas such as regulation, governance, audit, inspection, finance, investigation, enforcement, or compliance.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, leadership and team management experience, and a track record of engaging with, or overseeing, complex organisations.
