About Your New Job
As the Senior Regulatory Analyst, you will:
- Conduct regulatory assessments of Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs), prepare and share outcomes, and evaluate registration requests.
- Contribute to risk evaluation, regulatory policy development, and oversee AHBRA’s monitoring and concerns programmes.
- Support key regulatory tasks such as analysing data and preparing reports, briefings, and presentations for sector oversight.
- Work collaboratively with senior staff, stakeholders, and regulatory teams to identify issues, shape recommendations, and enhance regulatory standards.
- Mentor teammates and undertake ad-hoc duties to ensure excellence in sector regulation.
What Skills You Need
- Significant experience in a financial, regulatory, audit, compliance, or analytical role.
- Level 8 qualification (NFQ) or equivalent experience in regulation, legal, compliance, risk, governance, finance, assurance, housing, property, or tenancy management.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data, prepare reports, and communicate complex findings clearly.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to build relationships and influence in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Experience in risk evaluation, assurance, and governance is desirable.

- Salary: €57,895 to €70,730 (Senior Staff Officer Scale, incremental public sector pay progression).
