About Your New Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to join a dedicated on-site engineering team. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, and system improvements, ensuring all mechanical assets operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with statutory requirement

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant and building services systems.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, valves, pipework, and associated systems.
  • Support the operation of boilers, chilled water systems, air handling units, and other critical plant.
  • Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure maintenance activities are completed in line with health & safety and compliance requirements.
  • Update maintenance records and complete work orders through CAFM systems.
  • Support contractors and specialist service providers during maintenance activities and projects.
  • Assist with small works, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Need

  • Trade qualification in Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in a mechanical maintenance role within commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or critical environments.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, mechanical plant, pumps, valves, and building services.
  • Experience using CAFM systems and digital maintenance tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
