About The Role
This role is for a hands-on Senior Maintenance Technician to manage maintenance of the hotel on a day to day basis. This is an important role within the company as it will directly impact the customers experience through the management of the hotels maintenance & facilities. This role suits someone practical and proactive who enjoys working on the tools while helping coordinate maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out hands-on maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, general upkeep)
- Manage and organise all reactive and pre planned maintenance
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues and guest requests
- Perform routine inspections and support preventative maintenance
- Ensure compliance with health & safety standards
- Support team coordination and liaise with contractors
- Work closely with other departments to keep rooms guest-ready
What Skills You Need
- Experience in maintenance within a hotel or similar environment
- Strong practical skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
- Good problem-solving and organisational skills
- Knowledge of health & safety practices
- Ideally a relevant trade or technical qualification but not essential
