Senior Financial Controller 
Location: Citywest, Dublin (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to €120,000 + Benefits

The Role
We are seeking a high-calibre Group Financial Controller to join a dynamic and growing organisation based in Citywest. This is a senior leadership role, responsible for overseeing group finance operations, driving robust financial control, and providing strategic support to the executive team.
You will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, enhancing reporting capabilities, and supporting business growth, including involvement in M&A activity and integration.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the group finance function, overseeing a team of qualified accountants
Deliver timely and accurate group management reporting, including board-level insights and analysis
Own the consolidation process across multiple entities, ensuring full compliance with IFRS
Strengthen and maintain a robust internal control environment across the group
Partner with senior stakeholders to provide commercial and strategic financial support
Support and lead M&A activity, including financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting frameworks
Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements

Candidate Profile
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Must have trained in practice and then moved into an FC role within industrys listed below 
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Group Financial Controller role
Proven experience managing and developing teams of qualified accountants
Strong background in group reporting, consolidations, and IFRS
Experience within Retail, Logistics, or a similar fast-paced, multi-entity industry
Demonstrated involvement in M&A transactions and integration
Strong technical accounting expertise combined with a commercial mindset
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
