About Your New Job
As the Senior Financial Accountant, your role will be a mix of technical accounting, investigation, process improvement, and business partnering.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare reconciliations of general ledger and subledger accounts for various projects and investments.
- Produce spend reporting for projects and investigate variances or anomalies.
- Resolve issues relating to project spend, ledger discrepancies, and intercompany transactions.
- Prepare journal entries, account analyses, reporting schedules and supporting documentation.
- Review and submit intercompany recharge schedules, invoices, and journals.
- Support the annual budgeting process and track variances throughout the year.
- Assist with the month-end close process when required.
- Support strategic financial analysis and forward-looking business projects.
- Document processes, recommend improvements, and maintain internal controls.
- Work collaboratively with finance colleagues and cross-functional support teams.
What Skills You Need
- Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA /CPA or equivalent) with relevant practical experience in a similar role
- Experience with Power BI, Hyperion, or similar is an advantage.
