A well-established SME based in Balbriggan is seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team. This is a key role within the business, working closely with the Head of Finance and contributing to the ongoing growth and financial management of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Production of group and consolidated accounts
- Oversight of financial reporting for both Irish and UK entities
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Partnering with internal stakeholders to provide financial insight and analysis
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5+ years post-qualified experience
- Proven experience within an SME environment is essential
- Background in construction or manufacturing sectors required
- Strong technical expertise in accounts preparation and consolidations
- Experience managing both Irish and UK accounts
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
