Location: Naas, Co. Kildare (Office-Based)
Our client, a rapidly growing and highly successful e-commerce/ Beauty and Skincare business based in Naas, is seeking an ambitious and commercially minded Group Accountant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant who is looking to take ownership of the finance function and develop into a Finance Manager or Financial Controller position within the next 2–3 years.
The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the finance function and the month-end close process. You will play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business by providing accurate financial information, commercial insights, and financial leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of the month-end close process
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Managing the day-to-day finance operations
- Cash flow management and forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Budgeting and forecasting support
- KPI reporting and commercial analysis
- Supporting business growth initiatives and process improvements
- Acting as the key finance business partner to the General Manager
- Ensuring compliance with all financial and statutory requirements
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
- Previous experience within e-commerce, retail, or FMCG
- Experience working within a growing SME environment would be highly advantageous
- Strong month-end and management accounting experience
- Commercially focused with excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the finance function
- Ambitious and eager to progress into a Finance Manager/Controller role in the coming years
