About Your New Job
- Prepare and present product costings for both new and existing products to inform pricing and go/no-go recommendations.
- Own commercial and financial reporting: track exchange rates, freight, and delivery costs, and keep key stakeholders alert to trends and cost drivers.
- Analyse annual labour costs, manage product bills of materials, and ensure accurate allocation of costs.
- Lead the monthly reporting cycle, providing insights into sales, margins, contribution, and performance.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Purchasing teams to drive profitability and commercial optimisation.
- Oversee and participate in stocktakes, ensuring robust inventory and cost records.
What Skills You Need
- 3-5 years’ cost accounting experience in a similar environment.
- Strong Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, data formatting and presentation).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional Accounting qualification.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical ability, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
- Initiative, independence, and a proactive approach to your responsibilities.
