We are working with a leading healthcare organisation that is currently looking to hire a Senior Architect/Lead Engineer. This is a brand-new role that will take a strategic lead while also hiring and structuring a small team to support the strategic innovation plans over the next 5-10 years.
The company are based in the city centre and work in a hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. They will provide an excellent salary and full benefits package.
Primary Duties
- This role combines deep technical execution with strategic leadership, acting as both chief architect and engineering leader, while remaining actively involved in system design, integration development, troubleshooting, and solution delivery.
- The role is accountable for designing, building, and operating a highly reliable integration landscape, connecting core platforms (e.g. EHR) with clinical, operational, and device systems, while leading enterprise application development and DevOps practices.
- The person will be a senior technical authority responsible for hands-on leadership of digital engineering, healthcare interoperability, and omni-channel delivery across a large-scale healthcare ecosystem.
Requirements
- Proven experience architecting and delivering scalable cloud-based platforms
- Strong engineering leadership across multiple teams
- Experience in Modern engineering practices (CI/CD, DevOps, automation, testing)
