Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Road Sweeper Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will operate a road sweeping vehicle to maintain clean and safe public roads and sites. This is a Monday to Friday role with excellent overtime opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a road sweeper vehicle safely and efficiently
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Ensure roads, sites, and work areas are kept clean and free from debris
- Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies
- Complete required paperwork and defect reports
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and site personnel
Requirements
- Full Rigid (C) Driving Licence – essential
- Valid Safe Pass
- Previous experience driving commercial vehicles (road sweeper experience an advantage)
- Good understanding of road safety and site safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication skills
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime available
