We're currently recruiting on behalf of a leading maintenance contractor for an experienced RGI Boiler Technician to join their growing mobile engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified gas technician looking for a varied role covering commercial and residential properties, with a strong pipeline of maintenance work, a company vehicle, and long-term career prospects.
The Role
As a Mobile RGI Boiler Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, fault finding, and reactive repairs on gas-fired heating systems across a portfolio of client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair domestic and commercial gas boilers.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts.
- Diagnose and rectify faults on heating and hot water systems.
- Complete gas safety inspections and certification where required.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with RGI regulations and health & safety standards.
- Accurately complete job reports and maintenance records.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service while working across multiple client sites.
Requirements
- Current RGI registration (essential).
- Qualified Plumbing and/or Heating Technician.
- Previous experience servicing and repairing gas boilers and heating systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload effectively.
