About Your New Job

As a Research Scientist, you will play a key role in advancing innovative nutritional solutions for swine and poultry production systems. You will work closely with the innovation team to design, implement and analyse scientific studies that support product efficacy and commercial development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, optimising, validating and implementing laboratory models to assess digestion, mineral and nutrient availability, and immune modulation in monogastric animals.
  • Designing and managing in vivo scientific trials in swine and poultry production environments.
  • Conducting statistical analysis and interpretation of experimental data to support scientific and commercial objectives.
  • Writing scientific reports, publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals and presenting results at scientific conferences.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional innovation teams to advance research projects and product development initiatives.
  • Supervising and training laboratory personnel where required.
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

What Skills You Need

  • PhD in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, Biochemistry, Immunology or a related scientific discipline.
  • Experience designing and conducting laboratory and animal-based research studies.
  • Hands-on experience with techniques such as ELISA, RT-PCR, mammalian cell culture or similar laboratory methodologies.
  • Strong statistical analysis and scientific data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent scientific writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a collaborative research environment while managing multiple projects.
