About Your New Job
- As Area Manager, you will develop sales and relationships in the Cork/Kerry region, focusing on independent pharmacies.
- You must live in Cork and will cover both Cork and Kerry. The previous territory was managed from Waterford, but now needs a Cork-based professional.
- You’ll act as the key representative in the region, managing and growing existing accounts, generating new business, and ensuring best-in-class customer support.
- The position is field-based, reporting to Sales/Commercial Management, and you’ll collaborate with key account managers who focus on the largest national clients.
- The interview process consists of two rounds (MS Teams, then face-to-face).
What Skills You Need
- Proven field-based sales and/or account management experience.
- Success in exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
- Commercially aware, self-driven, and customer focused.
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Experience with CRMs and Microsoft 365 is an advantage.
What's on Offer
- Salary €43,000 – €45,000 (depending on experience).
- Bonus up to €8,000 per annum, paid quarterly (based on achievement of KPIs).
- Company car (Skoda Octavia), fuel card, and toll tag included.
- 22 annual leave days (20 + 2 discretionary).
- €10 per day subsistence allowance.
