About Your New Job
- As a Recruitment Consultant, you will manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing and interviewing candidates to placing them with clients.
- You’ll build lasting relationships with clients and candidates, becoming a trusted advisor in the Galway market.
- Recruitment is a sales role, so you will be working on selling over the phone and in person, both to companies and candidates alike, to build your reputation as the go-to person in your market
- You will have the autonomy to develop your own client portfolio, identify new business opportunities, and maintain a high level of service delivery.
- You will be involved in a wide variety of tasks from one hour to the next - sales, negotiation, marketing, interviewing, CV writing, interview preparation. There is never a dull moment in recruitment and there's always something to do!
What Skills You Need
- Previous experience in recruitment or sales is essential (previous industry experience in hospitality or retail tends to translate well).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills, resilience, and a results-driven mindset.
- A hard-working, self-driven attitude.
- An optimistic, positive outlook.
- A love of problem solving and an inquisitive (some might say, nosey!) mindset.
