Recruitment Consultant – Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Athlone team and take ownership of an established Engineering recruitment desk.

This role would suit a recruiter with a minimum of 2 years’ agency recruitment experience within the Engineering or Manufacturing sector, with proven experience managing a full 360 recruitment desk.

You will manage both the candidate and client side of the recruitment process, combining candidate sourcing and delivery with client management and proactive business development.

Candidates must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Athlone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full 360 recruitment desk within the Engineering market.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from client brief through to placement.
  • Source, engage and manage Engineering and Manufacturing candidates.
  • Build and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Lead client meetings, take detailed briefs and advise on the candidate market.
  • Proactively identify, approach and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build a strong candidate network within your specialist market.
  • Manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work towards agreed individual and team revenue targets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ agency recruitment experience.
  • Previous recruitment experience within Engineering or Manufacturing.
  • Proven experience operating as a 360 Recruitment Consultant.
  • Strong experience across both candidate delivery and client development.
  • Comfortable with business development and proactively approaching prospective clients.
  • Strong candidate sourcing and networking skills.
  • Commercially minded, target-driven and proactive.
  • Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
