About the Opportunity
Sigmar Recruitment is looking for an ambitious and driven Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Transport & Logistics recruitment team in Cork.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a genuine career in recruitment and join an already successful and established recruitment desk.
No previous recruitment experience is required. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, work ethic and personality who is eager to learn, develop commercially and become a successful Recruitment Consultant.
You will receive hands-on training and work closely with an experienced consultant, learning how to manage candidates, develop client relationships and ultimately build your own successful recruitment desk.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will learn all aspects of agency recruitment, including:
- Sourcing and speaking with candidates across the Transport, Logistics and Warehousing sectors
- Conducting candidate screening and registration calls
- Writing and posting job advertisements
- Matching suitable candidates with available roles
- Building relationships with candidates and clients
- Making outbound calls to candidates and prospective clients
- Managing interview processes and candidate feedback
- Developing an understanding of the Transport & Logistics employment market
- Building and maintaining your own candidate network
- Supporting existing client accounts
- Developing new business opportunities as your experience grows
- Working towards individual and team targets
