About Your New Job

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of the financial and contractual aspects of construction projects from tender through to completion. Working closely with project managers, site teams, and clients, you will ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions.

  • Managing project budgets, valuations, and cost reports.

  • Assessing subcontractor and supplier quotes and agreements.

  • Conducting site visits and monitoring progress to ensure cost control.

  • Managing variations, claims, and final accounts.

  • Supporting procurement and project planning functions.

What You Need to Have

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a QS role, ideally within a main contracting environment.

  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and industry-standard software (e.g. Buildsoft, Cubit, or equivalent).

  • A full, clean driving licence.
