About Your New Company

You will be joining a growing construction and property development firm based in Mullingar, renowned for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and civil projects across the Midlands. With an expanding project pipeline, the organisation is now looking to strengthen its commercial team with a driven and detail-focused Quantity Surveyor.

About Your New Role

As the new Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the full commercial life cycle of multiple construction projects from initial tender through to final account. You will prepare cost plans, evaluate subcontractor packages, manage valuations, monitor project budgets, and ensure cost-effective delivery. Working closely with the site and project management teams, you will provide commercial guidance, assess risks, and ensure contract compliance. This is a role for someone who wants autonomy, visible impact, and the opportunity to support the business during an exciting phase of growth.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

  • 2+ years’ experience in a QS role (contracting or consultancy background welcomed)

  • Strong knowledge of Irish construction regulations, contracts, and procurement

  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and negotiation skills

  • Proficiency in cost-management software and MS Office

  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet commercial deadlines

  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset
