Quality Control Laboratory Technician

As a Quality Control Laboratory Technician, you will:

  • Select and prepare standards for comparison with production samples.
  • Evaluate incoming raw material samples for compliance with specifications.
  • Collect, review, and file Certificates of Analysis for all raw materials.
  • Document HACCP CCP and OPRP requirements as needed.
  • Prepare samples for external testing and organise, store, and dispose of QC retained samples.
  • Clean and calibrate all QC lab instruments regularly and maintain accurate records of all work performed.
  • Report problem areas within the QC function and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean working area and sufficient inventory of supplies in the lab.
  • Adhere to all GMPs, GLPs, safety procedures, and test methods and specifications (Brix, pH, turbidity etc.)

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field required.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a laboratory, food or pharma.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • PH testing and Bench testing highly desirable.
