Quality Control Laboratory Technician
As a Quality Control Laboratory Technician, you will:
- Select and prepare standards for comparison with production samples.
- Evaluate incoming raw material samples for compliance with specifications.
- Collect, review, and file Certificates of Analysis for all raw materials.
- Document HACCP CCP and OPRP requirements as needed.
- Prepare samples for external testing and organise, store, and dispose of QC retained samples.
- Clean and calibrate all QC lab instruments regularly and maintain accurate records of all work performed.
- Report problem areas within the QC function and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.
- Maintain a clean working area and sufficient inventory of supplies in the lab.
- Adhere to all GMPs, GLPs, safety procedures, and test methods and specifications (Brix, pH, turbidity etc.)
What Skills You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field required.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a laboratory, food or pharma.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- PH testing and Bench testing highly desirable.
