The Work
As a Quality Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across manufacturing operations while supporting the development and engagement of your team.
- Lead, supervise, and coach a team of Quality Inspectors to drive strong quality performance and team engagement.
- Plan, allocate, and oversee daily quality assurance and inspection activities in line with SOPs, ISO 13485 & ISO 9001, and GMP/GDP requirements.
- Manage internal, external, customer, and supplier audits, ensuring audit readiness and effective implementation of CAPAs.
- Monitor and drive quality KPIs, support New Product Introductions (NPI), and champion continuous improvement using Lean and structured problem-solving tools.
- Promote and uphold best practices in health & safety, environmental standards, and housekeeping, including 5S/6S methodologies.
The Person
The ideal candidate is an experienced quality professional with a strong background in regulated manufacturing environments and proven people leadership skills.
- NFQ Level 7 qualification in Quality, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering within a regulated environment.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in supervisory or people management roles.
- Solid working knowledge of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards, QMS processes, and audit management.
- Experience with document control and maintaining quality systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and analyze data to solve problems.
Desirable but not essential:
- Background in electronics manufacturing (PCBA, cable assembly, box build).
- Experience with MedTech/Automotive requirements (GMP, IATF), Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, or ERP/MES systems.
You are proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. You bring strong collaboration skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and the ability to motivate and develop others while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
