About Your New Job
As the Quality Manager, you will:
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, INAB, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Oversee quality assurance activities within microbiology and chemistry labs, ensuring ongoing compliance and continuous improvement.
- Manage internal and external audits, document control, CAPA, risk assessments, and quality KPI reporting.
- Participate as a key member of the site leadership team, contributing to business strategy, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
- Act as the primary quality contact for clients and regulatory bodies, supporting audit follow-ups and fostering quality-driven relationships.
What Skills You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific discipline (Master’s preferred).
- At least 5 years’ experience in laboratory quality assurance, including a minimum of 2 years in a quality leadership position.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 17025, 9001, INAB, and relevant regulatory guidelines (FDA, EPA, etc.).
- Proven experience managing audits, maintaining QMS, and leading quality investigations.
- Exceptional organisational skills, analytical mindset, and the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
- Experience in food or environmental testing laboratories is highly desirable.
