About Your New Employer

Our client is a well-established Irish food manufacturer with a strong reputation for producing premium-quality food products. They are committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, quality and continuous improvement while supplying customers across the Irish market.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quality Lead to take ownership of the site's Quality Management System. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful business where you'll have full responsibility for quality, food safety and compliance while working closely with senior management.

About Your New Job

  • Managing and continuously improving the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Leading the HACCP team and maintaining HACCP, food safety and quality systems.
  • Managing BRCGS, Bord Bia, customer and regulatory audits while implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Investigating customer complaints, carrying out root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.
  • Managing microbiological and chemical testing programmes, product quality monitoring and calibration schedules.
  • Delivering food safety training and supporting quality awareness across the business.
  • Producing KPI reports and presenting quality performance to senior management.
  • Supporting new product development and continuous improvement projects.
  • Working closely with Production, senior management and external regulatory bodies to maintain the highest quality standards.

What Skills You Need

  • A degree or qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management or a related discipline.
  • At least 3–5 years' experience in a quality role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP and Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience managing BRCGS, customer or regulatory audits.
  • Excellent problem-solving, root cause analysis and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently while building strong relationships across multiple departments.
