About Your New Job as a Quality Engineer II:
Troubleshoots and resolves complex quality and process issues, using data and test results to make practical decisions.
Owns product quality decisions, including the disposition of non-conforming material.
Supports customer complaint investigations and follows issues through to effective closure.
Drives continuous improvement in product and process quality using Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical tools.
Applies strong working knowledge of validation and risk management (ISO 14971) in day-to-day decision making.
Reviews new or changed products, processes, and equipment (with EHS where needed) to ensure regulatory, environmental, and quality compliance.
Analyzes operational and validation data to define specifications and performance standards.
Provides hands-on technical guidance to quality engineers, technicians, and inspection teams.
Works closely with suppliers, internal engineering teams, and customers to resolve quality issues.
Actively participates in internal audits and promotes best practices across the site.
What Skills You Need for Quality Engineer II:
- A Level 8 Degree (240 Credits) or equivalent in an Engineering or Science related discipline.
- A minimum of 3-4 years experience working at Engineering level, ideally within the Medical Device industry or another highly regulated environment.
- Familiar with Internal Audit Processes.
- Team player and someone who is fully motivated to achieve and demonstrate best practices in line with the department and site objectives.
