I'm currently working an excellent Quality Controller role to join the warehouse team with one of our Logistics clients based in Cork. In this role, you will be supporting local food production and export. This is a permanent role, with strong salary. Ideally, we are looking for someone with at least one year experience in Quality Control or Production.

 

Job Summary:

In this role, you will ensure product quality and safety through regular inspections, maintain hygiene standards, support audits, and help resolve quality issues to meet compliance and customer expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all quality inspections at intake, during storage, and at dispatch are completed correctly and in accordance with SOPs.

• Maintain full traceability of stock from intake to dispatch.

• Monitor and maintain high standards of site hygiene & housekeeping.

• Complete all onsite records, including cleaning logs, maintenance checks, customer temperature verification, and quality reports to customers.

• Monitor product temperatures throughout storage and dispatch processes.

• Assist in the investigation and documentation of non-conformances.

• Carry out hygiene/GMP audits and ensure HACCP and BRCGS principles are continuously met for product safety and process control.

• Provide staff with guidance regarding product quality, legality and hygiene.

• Assisting the Operations Manager in resolving any quality issues or other tasks as required.

• Assist with internal audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality regulations.

• Support staff training in Food Safety and SOP adherence.

 

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Degree in Food Science or a related field is desirable but not essential.

• Minimum of 1 years' experience in Quality Control or Production
