About Your New Job
As a Quality Control / Assurance Technologist, you will support the development, implementation and maintenance of quality and food safety systems across the site.
You will:
Carry out chemical and physical testing in line with agreed quality programmes
Co-ordinate samples for microbiological, shelf-life, sensory, nutritional and compositional analysis
Monitor quality standards, analyse data and prepare clear, accurate reports
Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and follow up on corrective and preventive actions
Maintain and update quality and food safety documentation within the Quality Management System
Support internal audits and ensure ongoing compliance with food safety standards
This role offers real responsibility from day one and exposure to all aspects of quality systems within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
What Skills You Need
Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar QC/QA role post-college
Third-level qualification in Food Science, Nutritional Science or a related discipline
Strong ability to record, interpret and analyse process data
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical reports
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
