About Your New Job

As a Quality Control / Assurance Technologist, you will support the development, implementation and maintenance of quality and food safety systems across the site.

You will:

  • Carry out chemical and physical testing in line with agreed quality programmes

  • Co-ordinate samples for microbiological, shelf-life, sensory, nutritional and compositional analysis

  • Monitor quality standards, analyse data and prepare clear, accurate reports

  • Investigate non-conformances, identify root causes and follow up on corrective and preventive actions

  • Maintain and update quality and food safety documentation within the Quality Management System

  • Support internal audits and ensure ongoing compliance with food safety standards

This role offers real responsibility from day one and exposure to all aspects of quality systems within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar QC/QA role post-college

  • Third-level qualification in Food Science, Nutritional Science or a related discipline

  • Strong ability to record, interpret and analyse process data

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical reports

  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
