About Your New Job

As the QA Operations Manager, you will:

  • Lead all facets of day-to-day Quality Assurance for GMP manufacturing operations.
  • Drive real-time QA support across manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, engineering, validation, QC, and support teams.
  • Embed a culture of proactive quality ownership through coaching, mentorship, and training.
  • Provide strong floor presence, ensuring timely review of GMP documentation, deviation and batch record management, and risk escalation.
  • Oversee deviation investigations, approve CAPAs, conduct risk assessments, and support audits/inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, internal policies, and the site Pharmaceutical Quality System.

What Skills You Need

  • Proven leadership in a GMP-regulated biologics, vaccines, or sterile manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with deviation investigations, CAPA, change control, batch record review, and inspection readiness.
  • In-depth knowledge of EU GMP, regulatory inspections, risk-based QA strategies, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of industry regulations and compendia (USP/Ph. Eur, GMP, EMA, ICH).
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
