About Your New Job
As a Qualified Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting production operations in a busy food manufacturing environment.
You will:
- Carry out electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair on production machinery.
- Support and maintain PLC-controlled and automated systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure efficiency.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
- Assist with installations and coordinate with external contractors when required.
What Skills You Need
- Recognised Industrial Electrical qualification (National Craft Certificate or equivalent).
- 3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong experience with PLC troubleshooting and automation systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.s
