About Your New Job

As the Project Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Oversee contract administration, financial management, and coordination of subcontractors from project start to finish.
  • Review and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with all obligations and timely resolution of contractual issues.
  • Manage project budgets, prepare bi-weekly/monthly financial reports, conduct valuations, and oversee the processing of payments.
  • Handle all variations, implement cost-control strategies, and carry out final account evaluations.
  • Attend the construction site regularly, ensuring performance and resolving any project concerns directly with stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, and facilitate clear communications among clients, project managers, and other teams.
  • Proactively manage commercial and procurement activities, including supplier selection and value engineering.
  • Identify and manage project risks to ensure successful delivery and compliance throughout the life of the project.

What Skills You Need

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role within construction/project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial management, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with proven subcontractor coordination experience.
  • High proficiency in managing project budgets, cost controls, and preparing valuations.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle variations, project risk, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to attend site regularly and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
