Project Planner

Location: Banbridge, Co. Down
Salary: Competitive DOE
Hours: Mon-Thu 8am-5pm, Fri 8am-3pm

The Role

A leading construction and building services contractor is seeking a Project Planner to develop, manage and monitor project programmes across a range of residential, commercial, healthcare and education projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain construction, procurement and commissioning programmes.
  • Identify critical paths, risks and project constraints.
  • Monitor progress against programme milestones and provide reports to management.
  • Assess programme changes, delays and recovery plans.
  • Conduct site visits and work closely with project teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support tender planning activities and project scheduling.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors throughout project lifecycles.

Essential Criteria

  • HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years' planning experience within construction or MEP environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles.
  • Proficient in Asta Powerproject.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and analytical skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with MEP installations.
  • Knowledge of delay analysis and EOT processes.
  • Experience using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
