About Your New Role

As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for a significant new build development based in Galway. You will manage every stage of the project—from planning through to handover—with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and safety onsite. The project is valued at over €10m and represents a key addition to the local built environment.

Your main duties include:

• Leading the on-site team and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and all key project stakeholders.
• Developing and managing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to deliver on all milestones.
• Monitoring progress, swiftly resolving issues, and maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout.
• Chairing meetings, providing clear direction, and reporting to senior management.
• Enforcing health, safety, and quality standards across all phases of the development.

What Skills You Need

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager with a main contractor on major construction projects.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Proven record in leading multidisciplinary teams and successfully delivering complex builds.
• Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practice, planning regulations, and quality standards.
