About the Role
Due to continued growth, the team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their project management department based in Tuam, Co. Galway.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend client and site meetings, ensuring satisfaction across all project aspects.
  • Oversee projects from inception to completion, meeting high standards and deadlines.
  • Plan, design, and manage custom solutions tailored to complex projects.
  • Prepare quotations, manage budgets, and coordinate subcontractors/suppliers.
  • Work with other managers to schedule labour, oversee build/dismantle timelines, and allocate resources.
  • Produce site-specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Brief site supervisors on job specifics, both on-site and in-house.
  • Ensure technical requirements, including access and design specifics, are met.
  • Take ownership for delivery, completion, and project handover.
  • Oversee Health & Safety procedures and ensure Safe Pass compliance.
  • Support tender applications and maintain technical data related to construction projects.
  • Integrate CAD drawings into practical site solutions, connecting design with real-world requirements.
  • Build and maintain client and supplier relationships.
  • Engage in ongoing skills development and collaboration across teams.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Level 8 degree in Construction Management or related discipline & Chartered Builder credentials.
  • 15–20+ years’ project, contracts, and site management experience in construction.
  • Strong hands-on construction expertise across schools, residential, and commercial projects.
  • CAD proficiency and practical integration into construction sites.
  • Sound understanding of Safe Pass/site safety requirements.
  • Proficiency in IT: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative work experience.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and adaptability.
  • Self-motivated, deadline-focused, and open to feedback.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Full driving licence.

Desirable Skills

  • Previous experience in construction industry.
  • Knowledge of land surveying.
  • Familiarity with health and safety best practices.
