About Your New Job
- As the Project Manager, you will take comprehensive responsibility for one large project or manage multiple sites, ensuring that each is delivered on time, within budget, and to company standards.
- Lead all aspects of project delivery, including managing relationships with design teams, sub-contractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Plan weekly work programmes, produce progress reports, and ensure all key milestones are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a strong Health & Safety culture on-site, attend and chair management meetings, and oversee the project from initiation to handover.
What Skills You Need
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar, and trade qualification or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience managing construction projects, ideally in a main contractor/civil engineering environment.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage client and subcontractor relationships.
- Solid commercial acumen, negotiation, and cost management skills.
- Technically proficient with a focus on problem solving and achieving measurable outcomes.
