About the Role
Due to continuous growth, the team is looking to hire a Project Manager to join the sales and project management department based in Tuam, Co. Galway.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend client and site meetings, following up on all project aspects to ensure satisfaction
- Plan and design custom solutions tailored to event complexity
- Prepare quotations and oversee budget management
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for required services and materials
- Work alongside other project managers to schedule labour, manage build and dismantle timelines, and allocate resources
- Liaise with yard staff regarding design specifics, access, and technical requirements
- Produce site-specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments as needed
- Brief site supervisors on all job-related matters, on-site or in-house
- Take ownership of project delivery, ensuring completion within deadlines and budgets
- Manage and facilitate project handover, with site visits as necessary
- Assist with client invoicing upon project completion
- Oversee Health & Safety procedures on site
- Support tender applications and work closely with teams across the organisation
- Maintain and enhance client and supplier relationships
- Engage in ongoing skills development through collaboration with colleagues
- Ensure the upkeep of technical data related to marquee materials and structures
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Level 8 degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Event Management, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years’ experience in project management
- Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across diverse teams
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with collaborative experience
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and deadline-focused, with the ability to shift priorities as needed
- Open to feedback and direction
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Full driving licence
Desirable Skills
- Previous experience in the construction or events management industry
- Knowledge of land surveying
- Familiarity with health and safety best practices
- Experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD)
