About Your New Job
As a Project Engineer, you will be pivotal in the successful launch and manufacturing of new products. This 12-month fixed-term contract involves supporting engineering activities from initial development to full-scale production. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage end-to-end engineering projects: Oversee projects from concept to production, ensuring technical excellence, timely delivery, and budget compliance.
  • Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities: Facilitate equipment installation, validation, calibration, and transition into manufacturing.
  • Enhance manufacturing processes and equipment: Continuously improve processes to achieve high efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Resolve complex technical and process challenges: Utilize structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making to address issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation: Prepare schedules, risk assessments, technical reports, and design reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards: Adhere to all quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Monitor project performance: Use key metrics to manage risks, changes, and resources effectively.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives: Implement best practices, new technologies, and innovative engineering solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship: Support knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.

What Skills You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering: (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related field).
  • 3-5 years of experience: In a project engineering or similar role, preferably within a technology-driven or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record: Successfully managing and delivering complex engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles: Familiarity with methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills: Ability to think critically and resolve issues effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills: Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CAD software: (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other relevant engineering tools is highly desirable.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certifications: Are a plus.
