About Your New Job
As the Injection Moulding Project Engineer, you will:
- Lead the planning, development, design, installation, and troubleshooting of injection moulding and manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure all equipment meets project specifications, schedules, and budgets.
- Develop and execute equipment validation testing (MOC, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, etc.) for qualifying new equipment.
- Deliver change management activities associated with the installation and qualification of equipment and process upgrades.
- Drive transformational process improvements and provide leadership within cross-functional teams.
- Oversee project management activities, ensuring effective reporting and project delivery.
- Provide technical troubleshooting expertise and support the strategic implementation of engineering initiatives.
- Train and develop technical problem-solving skills among team members.
- Contribute to New Product Introduction, R&D projects, and compliance with Quality System procedures.
What Skills You Need
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a similar discipline.
- 2–4 years’ relevant experience in a validated Medical Device or Pharma environment.
- Proven track record in project management and change management for equipment/processes.
- Knowledge of equipment installation/validation (SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ) and injection moulding & mould tooling.
- Experience supporting or managing procurement and project budgets.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments or projects in parallel.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership abilities.
